Project: Library and Desk wall unit
Features: Maple hardwood cabinetry with adjustable shelving and drawer space
ShopNotes: A finish color can often make or break a project. Custom color matching a project such as this Maple wall unit to the midtones in the hardwood floor worked well for this space. This unit needed to serve as library and storage space as well as a desk workstation. The library bases were 18" deep with a 12" deep shelving unit above but the connected desk flared out to meet the wall at 30" deep. This provided a large workspace without compromising the continuity of the wall unit.
