	Project: Queen Murphy Bed and Library Features: Oak material finished to match existing trim and casework in the home ShopNotes: Murphy beds can be as different in design as the homes they find themselves in. The design of this bed is all about function. Having an extensive collection of books, this homeowner needed a library to house them and the flanking cabinetry on this bed does just that. On the opposite wall of the room is a pair of matching library units and a pre-existing cabinet built into one adjoining wall holds even more. The murphy bed almost disappears into the room. Even though a regular bed would fit in this room with the library cases, it would dominate the room and define it as a bedroom. With the bed out of the way, there was room for a couch and some comfortable chairs. Perfect for relaxing with a good book.
