	Project: Fireplace Surround Features: Birch material with fluted columns and crown moulding. ShopNotes: Adding a custom mantle or fireplace surround is an easy way to change the look of any room. This surround was built for an open hearth area where a freestanding wood stove had initially stood. The stain color and trim details were matched to existing cabinetry and trim in the room. Construction is of Birch and the large mantle top measures nearly two feet by four feet.
