ShopNotes: Murphy beds can come in many shapes and styles to fit into any decor or space. This bed features a fold-away solid wood concealed leg that drops into place when the bed is lowered. The hinged fluted columns allow some lower storage space as well as shelving above. The warm Honey Oak dye stain and high gloss finish were matched to other furniture in the clients home. Even as compact as these units can make a bed seem, they are still large. This unit weighed over 500 lbs and stands just shy of 8 feet tall.
